Treatment designed for women
Women often face particular barriers to getting help: stigma, fear of judgement, family and childcare responsibilities, and experiences of trauma or relationship difficulties. The New Inception is a private, women-only rehabilitation centre, set up to give women a setting where they can focus on recovery with dignity.
The treatment pathway
- Assessment: a conversation about substance use, physical and mental health, and circumstances.
- Detoxification: medically supervised where needed.
- Therapy: individual counselling, CBT and motivational interviewing.
- Family involvement: family therapy sessions to rebuild support at home.
- Relapse prevention: a personal plan for life after treatment.
- Follow-up and aftercare: continued contact as she returns to daily life.
